On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, we are excited to invite you to the 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM) to be held from the 22nd to 24th May 2024 at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, Christchurch, New Zealand.

Our conference theme, ‘Still Standing’, encompasses keynote addresses on frailty, falls, fractures and our work in Geriatric Medicine keeping older people ‘standing’ as valued and contributing members of our society.

We will use the vibrant city of Christchurch to host an engaging and inspiring meeting. Our conference content will link with showcasing a modern Christchurch, which has regenerated and rehabilitated from its recent injuries. Te Pae is a new conference venue in the heart of Ōtautahi Christchurch with plenty of scope for partners and exhibitors to engage with and enhance the experience of conference attendees.
